BRANDesign was commissioned by Tenix Defence Australia (now BAE Systems Australia) to create visualisations of the SEA1444 Patrol Boat they invisioned for use by the Australian Navy.
The deadline for the tender (est. value $375m) was only 6 weeks away and they had not been able to source a supplier they were confident could complete the task.
At the time, they were only able to provide 2D plans and elevations, and the brief was to create a comprehensive range of 3D illustrations of the vessel, including internals and in-situ visualisations.
All tasks were completed for the deadline and within budget, and a letter of commendation and thanks was received from the manager of the project, Naval Commodore Hector J Donohue.
