The 'coat of arms' for the Podiatrists Registration Board of Victoria was always to appear in black and white (greyscale) or sepia tone, in addition to the requirement was that it be scalable to any size without loss of quality (resolution).
This is standard with most logos that have a limited range of solid colours, but not so easy when creating images with subtle shading. Every line and every shadow are separate objects with their own properties.
The design centres on Mercury's winged foot superimposed over a scroll that represents a Podiatry Board registration certificate. These are both framed by the identity plaque itself.
The first initiatives to receive the new identity were stationery and signage.
