WOODS FURNITURE INTERACTIVE COLOUR WHEEL

Australian company, Woods Educational Furniture developed a tool that proved very popular with their clients - a colour selection wheel with concentric circles of cardboard pinned through the centre, designed to help select a cohesive colour scheme for furniture used in school classrooms and staff areas.

They asked if this concept could be re-created digitally to make it available via their website.

BRANDesign coded the original application in Adobe Flash, but since that application has been phased out, it had to be converted to HTML5. The application was designed to output the selection directly into the specification fields of the Woods order form.

Click any of the colour swatches on the wheel - the wheel rotates to display the choice in the selection window and text in the top left hand corner reflects the change.
